Tip #1

Use picture cue cards to let your students know which app you want them to use for independent work. These can be made easily from simple images of app taken from iTunes or google images, printed and glued onto poster paper. These can be adhered to daily activity boards or other creative tools near the iPads.

Tip #2

Invest in some good headphones. Even dollar store variety will work. Make sure the jack end is the same size as the input spot on the iPad you have. If you have the older listening center headphones you can find adaptors for the larger end that will fit into the iPad.
